But seeing my child become a parent and holding that tiny baby in my arms — that was something entirely different. Suddenly, life looked brighter. The little things I used to overlook became magical again. I found myself slowing down, noticing the way sunlight caught their eyelashes, the sound of their laugh, the softness of their tiny hands.
