When you are running a daycare, you have to be creative with budget. With prices of Halloween costumes and at full capacity, I had to think outside the box. I also wanted it to be a group costume so my assistants could also dress up like the kids. It just happened to be that I had a few assistans and quite a few kids whose names started with the letter "M". So of course, dressing up as M&Ms was the perfect solution! Not only was it an affordable DIY costume, it was an activity for the kids because they got to paint it!
Pin for Later!

With simple materials and a little imagination, you can easily craft costumes that are cute, comfortable, and one-of-a-kind!
Materials:
White card stock
pencil

paint brush
ribbon

Instructions:
Started by tracing a big circle around 12-16” in the white card stock and cutting it. Paint the circle the desire color.

Trace letter M in a white piece of paper.

Cute and glue to middle of dry circle. Make two holes to the top of the M and run the ribbon through making knots and / or taping the ends. Repeat the same for different colors circles.
